Taiwan exported 22,532 tons of wood screws to the U.S. in the first ten months of 2019, a significant increase of 82% compared with the same period of 2018. Its average export price was USD 2.81 per KG, down 6.5% from the same period of 2018.

Market analysts attributed such a result to the significant decline in the Chinese Mainland’s wood screw export to the U.S.

According to the statistics, Chinese Mainland only exported 10,742 tons of wood screws to the U.S. in the first ten months of 2019, down 46.8% from the same period of 2018 and the average export price was down 8.9% year-on-year to USD 1.36 per KG.
